Begin With Intention

Choosing a therapist is a meaningful decision, and it matters that the approach feels aligned with who you are and what you’re seeking. A consultation is an opportunity for us to slow down, connect, and explore whether this work is the right fit for you or your child.

This practice is designed for teens and young adults who are feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or caught in cycles of stress and burnout—and who are ready to try something different from traditional, talk therapy.

What to Expect from a Consultation

During our phone consultation we will

  • Talk about what’s bringing you here and what you’re seeking through your therapeutic journey

  • Explore whether a nature-based, body-centered approach feels supportive for you

  • Discuss how sessions work, including the outdoor setting and the therapeutic framework that Allison uses

  • Answer any questions you have about the process

There’s no pressure to commit. This conversation is about clarity, fit, and mutual alignment.

This Practice May Be a Good Fit If You:

  • Feel chronically stressed, anxious, or emotionally overwhelmed

  • Sense that stress or past experiences are leaving you feeling stuck

  • Want to feel more grounded, emotionally regulated, and connected to yourself

  • Wanting to live more intentionally and in alignment with your values

  • Want your therapy to support both emotional healing and overall wellness

  • Are drawn to holistic, experiential, or nature-based therapeutic approaches

  • Value personal growth, self-awareness, and living more intentionally

  • Are looking for therapy that feels grounding, empowering, and leads you to deeper connection to yourself and your purpose

If you’re craving something deeper than coping or just getting by, something that feels grounded, intentional, and aligned—this work may be for you.

This work is not about “fixing” you or removing all of those challenging feelings or curveballs that life has thrown your way. It’s about having the willingness to show up, lean into vulnerability, and reconnect with yourself in more intentional and impactful ways.

You do not need to be outdoorsy or athletic. Sessions are always guided by your comfort level, physical ability, and personal goals.

This work may not be the best fit if you are looking for strictly office-based sessions or prefer a highly structured, talk-only approach. If you’re unsure, I’m happy to explore this with you during an initial consultation.
